Bye bye blue bathroom!

Saturday was the big day! John had brought home a bunch of neutral/white paint from work, and we decided to soften the bathroom! I started with removing hardware, sanded the walls, and painted. It's definately NOT perfect, but it was a huge help! While I was painting, John was working on the spare room. I believe the goal is to get it done, and move in this weekend (so he can start working on the master).

 Ahh! White!

With the while walls, the imperfections in the wall almost seem highlighted. All temporary...
Here is the spare room. Dry wall up, and mudding started. Gave John some issues...one of the beams in the wall is belled out. Once he would drill in, you could literally hear the drywall pushing away from the beam. Thus, all the screws...
With this, John redid all of the electrical work in the spare room. We have three new outlets :)

Back to the bathroom for a second coat...
 and finally dry!

With the white walls the tub, sink, and toilet look SO BLUE (must have been muted before). So for the time being, we are embrassing it :)
This room is so much brighter! And with the natural light, it lights up itself
kept this as a reminder of where we came from :) once the door is finished being framed in we will paint it
blue blue blue...
This hole was covered from the day we moved in (with bright blue painters tape, and a transparent green binder divider?) we are assuming it was a toilet paper roll holder...perfect size.
