Island/Bar Lights

John taped the floor (because I am very visual) so we can see where the island will go. I came home from work one day to see the wall was put in!

 John is putting in two outlets in the island-so this can be a prep area.

 Love these bar lights! We were concerned they might look off since our ceilings are low, but they turned out good! (I may have asked if we should switch to track lights...after these were wired in...)

Moving out the old sink!

About last week, right after the plumbing was done, we took out the final piece of the old kitchen! It was the first demo I have been involved in :)

 And this would be our drinking water! Explains the zero water pressure.

Kitchen-Cabinets

John was ripping the cabinets off the wall, and found out that they were built TO the wall.

Loving the new height of the cabinets! The white ones are too high!

And this is where we are at!

John picked out a basic countertop and we threw it on :) using it now as just extra room. Finally starting to feel like a kitchen!
