Gravel Driveway

The rain mixed with the mud/dirt in our driveway has become so slushy that (my) car has been getting stuck. John suprised me with 4 yards of gravel! (you know, the things we get excited about now). The dump truck came early saturday morning, and John spent the afternoon racking and packing it down. It is so nice to not have to tip-toe and strategically jump to the car :) We were a little short, but the gravel is covering where we needed it most :)

While we were outside brainstorming our exterior plans, our neighbors Beth and Felix came over with a gift card as a welcome to the neighborhood :)

 Had to be pretty stealth with the camera. Can't look like a crazy lady...

Didn't quite get enough...but no more getting stuck in the mud!
